⚠ Template — to be reviewed and approved by PowerSol and its legal advisor before launch.
This policy explains how PowerSol (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email address, company and message — when you submit an enquiry, apply to become a dealer, or sign in to the dealer portal. We also collect limited technical information (such as anonymised analytics) only where you have consented.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiries and provide quotes and support.
- To manage dealer relationships and accounts.
- To improve this website, where you have consented to analytics cookies.
Lawful basis & consent
We process personal information on the basis of your consent, to fulfil a request you have made, or for our legitimate business interests as a distributor. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us operate (for example, hosting or email), under appropriate safeguards, and where required by law.
Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.
